The plan is to make a clay oven from local clay for the Public Tea Party. We re talking about practicalities: Peter will bring clay from his back garden, we'll be doing more research into Roman clay ovens.
We wold like to build it near the new firstsite Gallery, possibly in the location where Colchester Inn will come together in the future. One issues is that the whole site is an archeological site (like most areas in central Colchester) and that we can't dig soil from the site to make the oven.
